Every year, getting the whole family together for Thanksgiving and Christmas means renting a large AirBnB. We're talking a big house, multiple bedrooms, the whole deal — and it usually runs us $6,000 or more between the two holidays.
My husband and I joined ASN a couple months ago specifically to see if we could cut that number down. We were skeptical. We'd heard the pitch before. But we figured if it could save us even half of what we normally spend, it would pay for itself quickly.
We started searching for Thanksgiving first. ASN's inventory had something we hadn't considered: 3-bedroom timeshare properties at ski resorts. Real resort units — on the slopes, with full kitchens, multiple bedrooms, the kind of place the whole family could actually spread out in.
We booked one for Thanksgiving. Then we booked another one for Christmas.
When we added it all up, we estimated we saved right around $4,500 to $5,000 on those two trips alone compared to what we would have paid for a large AirBnB.
So far so good. Nothing bad to say. We're happy with our purchase — and we're already planning our next trip.
